Protecting Martha’s Vineyard’s trees, forests, woodlands, and habitats requires informed participation, reliable evidence, community dialogue, and the organizational capacity to stay engaged over time.
You can support this work by signing the White Pines petition, learning and sharing reliable information, contacting FVF, or helping build FVF’s general capacity for education, research, outreach, media, organizing, and responsible conservation advocacy.

Donations help us advance public education, ecological stewardship, scientific engagement, and responsible conservation initiatives across the Island.
Questions, ideas, media inquiries, or interest in supporting the preservation of Martha’s Vineyard forests are always welcome.
General support helps FVF build the capacity needed for research, education, community outreach, organizing, media, website work, and sustained engagement. It can also help the organization develop future staffing capacity without implying that FVF currently has employees.
Campaign-specific fundraising must be separate from general organizational support and must identify the campaign, intended use, receiving entity, restrictions, and donor terms.
Friends of Vineyard Forests is committed to respectful community dialogue, environmental stewardship, and informed conservation advocacy.
